The stone house is a recently restored farm house in the village of Agios Dimitrios (Chaihoutes), few minutes away from the traditional and touristic village of Zia. The location of Agios Dimitrios village and Chaihoutes Residences up in Mt Dikaios commands impressive views of the Aegean Sea and the Turkish coast. The Stone House is a holiday paradise for those who enjoy tranquillity, appreciate nature, and would like to immerse in the natural beauty and culture of Kos Island. The house is surrounded by a 6-hectare green garden with many olive trees, other fruit and non-fruit bearing trees and plants, and a farm.
The Stone House is a 60 m2 open-space residence that can accommodate 3 people. The bedroom space contains a double and a single bed. The design is minimalist with neutral shades, soft lines, carefully selected furniture, and island architecture details with the intent to create a space of wellbeing and relaxation. The Stone House has a modern artisanal bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice living space with a comfy couch, coffee table and a set of dining furniture. Our facilities are 100% environmentally friendly as they are fully powered by alternative energy sources / solar energy.
Stone House guests have full access to the pool of Chaihoutes Residences and can relax with a dip in the pool or sunbathe. Our guests can also roam in our garden and farm, and taste some of our fresh produce. The Stone House has a nice terrace with a pergola that can be used for dining or reading one’s book over the day or enjoying a glass of wine under the moonlight. Other things to know: the hosts are available and happy to provide information and assistance to their guests including help with renting a car. Cleaning service is available on request.
